As we approach the end of Fall Semester, we wanted to provide you with a couple of reminders for Lecturers to ensure they are processed timely and their pay and benefits are not impacted:

Happy November! What a busy fall it has been! We want to let you know we are going to have a few days of reduced services this month, to align with schools being out and allow our staff time to relax and prepare for the holidays.

Winter curtailment deadlines for BRS and the Controller's Office.

We have a couple of exciting things to SHARE:
 

Research Administration:

Berkeley Regional Services' (BRS) HR Service Hub Project Team has just announced the 10/25/21 launch of the HR Service Hub which will replace HR ServiceNow (IT ServiceNow will not be impacted).

Dear Teal:

Sending a quick note to remind you that SHARE has a planned vacation day for the majority of our staff tomorrow, September 3rd. We will have reduced services. Please expect a response to any inquiries next week after we return from the Labor Day holiday.

It has been a busy summer and we are now (mostly) back from vacation, with a few important updates!
 

Planned Vacation Day September 3rd (Reduced Services)

Our staff have been giving it their all during this busiest time of the year for us and will be planning a vacation day on Friday, September 3rd to extend their Labor Day into a four-day weekend. We will have reduced services on that day. 
 

Dear SHARE Region,

I hope you are all enjoying summer and staying cool. I am reaching out to provide you with an update on some of our most recent staffing changes. One of our contract HR Generalists on our team recently accepted a career position with the BEST region. We are sad to see him leave, but happy for our friends at BEST. We have asked for approval to recruit for a position in SHARE.

The weather is amazing and it is starting to feel a little bit like summer. This is a good time to plant some tomatoes in your yard or in a pot on a balcony. Now on to news that actually matter.

Many of our staff will be on vacation starting Friday May 28th, through the week following Memorial Day, so please expect reduced services and longer response times.
