STAFFING UPDATES:
We have successfully backfilled our HR Generalist positions in SHARE and we wanted to introduce our new staff. Please join us in welcoming Katherine Ju, Marcela Cardona and James Seto.
Dear SHARE:
If you have any J-1 Scholars such as Visiting Scholars, Visiting Student Researchers, Postdocs or Lecturers with a January or February 2023 start date, the SHARE Region needs to receive these requests via ServiceHub as soon as possible, but no later than September 9, 2022.

We are writing to provide an update on the status of Fall ASE/GSR Hiring and to follow up on pending items to help resolve many of the pending hire requests.
If our team has reached out to you to update your position numbers, please process the updates as soon as possible. In order for ASE/GSRs to be paid on time, the requested position number updates need to be processed. Some of the updates include:

This is a reminder of the Fall 2022 ASE/GSR Hiring deadlines and some updates that will facilitate a smooth hiring process.
Deadlines:
7/18/2022 - All ASE/GSR Smartsheet entries/approvals due for on-time 9/1/2022 pay
8/5/2022 - DocuSign packets must be completed by ASE/GSRs for on-time 9/1/2022 pay
Hello SHARE Region,
We will begin entering pre-six lecturer appointments starting Wednesday, June 8th.
We will be holding office hours on Monday, June 6th from 12:00-1:00PM should you want to ask any questions about how to enter your appointments on the Smartsheet.

Dear SHARE Region,
We have recently received questions about how to enter lecturer salaries in your smartsheets. Please enter the salary provided to you on your appointment letters that includes the future 3% increases onto the Smartsheet.
When entering appointments and reappointments, and to avoid the range adjustments being erroneously applied twice, our Region will not update salaries. This way when the July 1, 2022 range adjustments are processed centrally, they will be captured then.
