Important Spring '23 Lecturer Information and Deadlines

Dear Campus Colleagues, 

We hope this email finds you well! We kindly ask you to cascade this to your Academic Analysts.

As we approach the end of Fall Semester, we wanted to provide you with a couple of reminders for Lecturers to ensure they are processed timely and their pay and benefits are not impacted:

  • Please ensure all lecturer appointments that have been entered onto the Smartsheets are “Department Approved” by November 7th, 2022. We have noticed that some rows are still pending department approval. At your earliest convenience, please ensure that the appointment details on the row are correct, and enter your approval on the row. We cannot move forward with entering their Spring appointment unless we have the "Department Approved" field completed.     • If a row is still “Pending” on the Smartsheet, we will @ mention the department in the “Comments” section of the row asking if we can move forward with entry. 

  • Please create a new row for FTE changes for Spring Semester. DO NOT make FTE changes to already processed rows.

  • Please note that if you did not indicate which action should be taken for lecturers on the Lecturer End Date Report (Entered on SS, Will enter on SS, Terminate, Pending Approval), then we will begin terminating their appointments in UCPath on November 28th, 2022, as the original deadline has already passed.
