UAW members are now live in CalTime

Dear Berkeley Regional Services Colleagues:

We would like to inform you that UAW GSR’s and ASE’s have transitioned to CalTime. Beginning today, September 1, 2023, Graduate Student Researchers, Academic Student Employees and their supervisors will begin using CalTime, Berkeley’s automated timekeeping system, to record their leave usage (and hours worked if biweekly paid). As part of this change, supervisors and delegates will need to review and approve their employees timecards each pay period.

UCOP has issued new guidelines for ASE/GSR salary setting, in particular the requirement for subsuming any top-up payment made for the 2022-2023 academic year.
