For your eligible faculty with available funding that can be used for summer ninths compensation (such as endowed chair funds, start-up funds, etc.), I am writing today to let you know that Berkeley Regional Services (BRS) will begin collecting the information this month to set up summer salary payments.

We are writing today to let you know that our SHARE Region HR teams are already working on details for next semester and want to share information about Spring 2025 ASE/GSR and Lecturer Hiring processes. Our goal, as in previous years, is to ask for your partnership in identifying these new hires as early as possible. Here are the important details for the next hiring semester based on what we know today to help with your preparation. The good news is that many processes will remain the same.

This year our deadline for departments to submit their overpayment/reassessment/reclass adjustments for 2024 to be processed without crossing tax years requests to our region is Friday, October 4th. We encourage you to submit your ServiceHub case by this deadline to ensure that overpayments will be processed by UCPath this calendar year.
