SHARE HR Staffing Update

August 13, 2019

Dear SHARE Region,

Thank you for your patience with us during our recent HR Partner vacancies. We would like to personally thank Linda Fitzgerald and Nick Dear for participating on our interview panel. We have filled four HR Partner positions with internal promotions and we invite you to check out our new allocation of units by HR Partners.
Congratulations to Max Yearian, who will be supporting our ORUs and Danielle Molina, Gerardo Ochoa and Ana Chavez, who will be supporting Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences and Undergraduate Division.
We will soon have an org chart on our website to reflect our most recent staffing updates.
We also want to take the opportunity to announce the upcoming retirement of two of our dearest SHARE colleagues, Cassandra Lumsey and Eleanor Keck. Both Cassandra and Eleanor will be retiring on September 30th 2019.
Cassandra has been an employee of the UC Berkeley for 20 years. Her entire career with UC Berkeley she has primarily worked in HR delivering exceptional service as an HR Partner then promoting to Sr. HR Partner where she was most recently promoted to HR Supervisor. Cassandra's passion for delivering great service is contagious and influential with her direct reports and peers. Always driving them to deliver exceptional comprehensive HR Services. We value her drive to simplify with efficiency which has recently helped us develop streamlined processes with the implementation of UC Path.
Eleanor has been an employee of UC Berkeley for 12 years. Her attention to detail and her desire to always be a leader and great support to her team is commendable. Eleanor has always been an early adopter and her resilience with UC Path has been a great source of support for our entire Region. Eleanor also does whatever it takes to get the job done and we thank her for her tenacity in helping us get our employees paid.
Please join me in extending best wishes to Cassandra and Eleanor. They will be greatly missed by their HR colleagues, Departments, ORUs and the employees they support.
Sincerely,
Ana
