Happy Holidays! Before we all turn off Zoom, bMail and bCal to enjoy these socially distanced holidays, we wanted to let you know SHARE will be closed for Winter Curtailment from December 23 through January 4. Below are guidelines for receiving any assistance you might need during this curtailment period:
Payroll
If you have an urgent payroll issue, please send an email to share_payroll@berkeley.edu and title it with the word “URGENT” in the subject line. SHARE staff will periodically review the payroll inbox during the break to process your urgent requests.
Human Resources
If you have an urgent request, please submit a servicenow case and title it with the word “URGENT” in the subject line. SHARE staff will periodically review cases for urgent issues and we will do our best to address them. Due to limited staffing, some pay related or benefits issues may need to be addressed when we resume service on Tuesday, January 5th.

Purchasing & Reimbursements (P&R)
If you have a purchasing emergency during this time, please email your assigned buyer and copy supplychain@berkeley.edu with the subject line "Emergency Acquisition" and be sure to include a description of the business need. A buyer will contact you as soon as possible during regular business hours. Only those emergencies necessary to protect the life-safety of the campus community will be processed.
Services (under $1000) and Catalog Orders that meet the auto-approval threshold and do not require additional approvals will be dispatched as usual. Please make sure the billing and account code fields are complete. As a reminder the Central Distribution Center will be closed and orders should not be shipped to a receiving facility during the break.
Research Administration
The Sponsored Projects Office will be closed for winter curtailment from December 18 until January 5th. If you’re interested in submitting a grant proposal for a deadline in January 2021, please submit an inquiry through our proposal request intake form and we will be in touch upon our return after the winter curtailment.
