Dear ORUs and Department Managers:
Time flies when you are having fun! Here are a few updates from us over here at SHARE.
- Our website is up and running. Come check it out at shareregion.berkeley.edu. There you can find all sorts of information about the region, and maybe most importantly, a staff directory. Why did we not choose share.berkeley.edu? It was taken.
- We will be having another coffee hour this Friday from 2-3:30pm in 14 Durant. Thanks to those of you who braved the rain last week. But you have to admit that those cookies were worth it. If you have any questions, or would simply like to say hi (or let's face it, just need a cookie), we would love to see you. But no pressure.
- Please pay attention to the UC Path information that is being distributed. Pay especially close attention to emails from our HR manager (Ana Sanchez), L&S (Amy Robinson) and campus. If you have questions, we are here to help.
- We heard that there is a rumor about you needing to get a new ID card for UC Path. Turns out that is not true. So hang on to the one you have.
- We received several requests for delegation of travel and entertainment reimbursement. So for example, if you would like to enter a travel reimbursement for a graduate student or faculty member other than yourself, what do you do? You have to get authorization for that. And we prepared a nifty little handout on how to do that! Once authorization has been granted, here is a handout on how you prepare a reimbursement for someone else
